Why Cashmere
A heritage fiber animal with a regal presence.
Cashmere is the soft undercoat these goats grow for warmth as the weather cools. The fiber can be collected, dehaired, processed, and spun into yarn for knitting, weaving, and other handmade projects. Cashmere goats grow that coat through the fall and winter, then naturally shed it in the spring, when it can be brushed out by hand.

We care about raising animals responsibly and keeping the farm manageable. Our livestock is handled daily, so they are remarkably friendly and used to human interaction.
